About Our Practice

Who We Are

Our primary focus is ensuring we fulfill the client's needs and that they are comfortable during the entire process. Our firm strives to educate individuals on the importance of estate planning and what happens if the individual does not have a plan or the wrong one. Not every client can travel to our office to discuss their needs. That is why we strive to accommodate our client's needs and will travel to the client's homes, offices, or whatever location is most convenient to them. In addition, to maintaining communication and ensuring our client is comfortable and understands the process, we keep an open line of communication during and after the entire process.

Meet

Margarita Karasik-McGee

Attorney at Law

Driven by the desire to secure a respected position in a challenging field, I enrolled in and graduated from the Paralegal Academy in 2008. Upon completion, I worked as a Paralegal and Notary Public for Moheban Law Firm from 2008-2012. In 2012, Mr. Moheban and I began working for Wolf, Rifkin, and Shapiro. While the work at that time was fulfilling, I still had a burning desire to do more. In the Fall of 2013,  I made the decision to pursue my Juris Doctorate at the University of West Los Angeles. Having departed Wolf, Rifkin, and Shapiro in 2013, I was able to devote my full attention to my studies.

Having graduated and passed the bar, I am the proud girl boss of my own firm where I provide friendly and professional service to all my clients. I understand that setting up an estate plan can be scary and frustrating, but I strive to make it as easy and comprehensive as possible. I make sure my client’s needs are met and that they are comfortable during the entire process. Being a sole practitioner has allowed me to model my business with affordable costs and a convenient schedule to adhere to my client’s schedule. My firm strives to educate individuals on the importance of estate planning and what happens if the individual does not have a plan or the wrong one in place.

Community Participation

While she is very busy balancing the dueling demands of her law practice and being a mom, she remains deeply involved in her local community.

“I am an ambassador for the San Dimas Chamber, where I volunteer my time and help with many of our local events. I sit on the San Dimas Little League Board, and I volunteer a lot of time my time on the field. I am also part of my son’s school PTA where I volunteer whenever my help is needed.” - Margarita Karasik-McGee

Client Testimonials

“If you need a trust made, or if you have probate issues, I would strongly recommend Margarita. She is amazing. She is smart, honest, direct and hard working. You can trust that she will approach your case as a fiduciary and not as a business person. What I appreciated the most is that in this difficult and emotionally challenging situation, I did not have to stress out because I knew that Margarita would do a great job dealing

with it.”

"I was looking for a local attorney to help me with my will and trust. Rita was recommended to me by a trusted friend, so I reached out to see if she might be able to help. Rita took her time to walk me through everything, and she did it at my pace. She was patient and attentive as I asked a million questions. Her price was more than reasonable and her work was impeccable. I would highly recommend Rita if you're in the market for any of the services she offers."
