Welcome to MKM Law.  We are local attorneys for everyday people.  We specialize in Estate Planning, particularly, wills, trusts, probates, trust administrations, litigation, business formations, personal injury, contracts and negotiations.  Based in San Dimas, CA, our firm is known locally as the attorney who simply cares.  We strive to educate individuals on the importance of proper estate planning and to protect them, their loved ones and their assets.  With MKM Law you are more than a client, you become family.

Margarita Karasik-McGee

Attorney at Law

Meet Margarita Karasik-McGee, your local attorney for everyday people.  Known as Rita in the community, she opened her practice in 2022, following the global pandemic.  Rita graduated from the Paralegal Academy in 2008 and worked for many years as a Paralegal and Notary Public.  In 2013, she enrolled at the University of West Los Angeles, to pursue her Juris Doctorate and become an attorney.  Rita has been working in the legal system for nearly 20 years and passed the bar examination in 2020. 

 

Prior to opening her practice, Rita was court appointed for LA County, representing parents who lost their children to Child Protective Services (CPS).  Eventually she moved to a private firm where she developed a true love for estate planning.  It was during this time she became extremely involved in her local community.  Rita has dedicated her life and passion to supporting those in need.  She is more than an attorney, she is a friend and confidant.  Rita has risen to commissioner for the City of San Dimas and is known as a problem solver and a compassionate human being. 

 

In her free time, Rita can be found supporting countless local organizations and community driven associations.  Rita believes that being an attorney is about more than money, it’s about bringing comfort and support to all around her.  She builds relationships based on trust, authenticity and compassion. 

 

When she’s not supporting the community, Rita can be found spending time with her son and taking long walks in Bonelli Park, traveling and creating memories.  Through her community involvement and endeavors, Rita seeks to be a role model for her son and teach him the value of giving back to your community.  Her mission is to raise a humble and empathetic human being who appreciates every aspect of his life.  Rita’s motto is “A simple life dedicated to support and community service is the greatest accomplishment I can achieve.”
